To help you get the best mount for your money.
You spend alot of time afield trying to
shoot that trophy buck or catch that 7 pound largemouth, why take it to the cheapest taxidermist in the phone book and get
the cheapest looking mount?
Call the taxidermist up, ask questions, look at his work, and take at least as much time picking
a taxidermist as you did getting your trophy!

Our Company
I am Rob Cunningham. I am 39 years old and I am the owner of Backwoods Taxidermy.I started doing
taxidermy work from a small building that I built back in 1990, basically just for myself. After doing a few mounts, I decided
to try my hand at competition.My first piece ( that I thought was the greatest thing ever) was a small whitetail buck with
an open mouth( Big Mistake). Little did I know that by doing an open mouth mount, that I had opened the door for the judges
to critique yet another unreferenced area! After I had found out just how terrible my mount was ( score sheet ),
I asked
the judges and all other experienced taxidermists just what I could do to get better.Well, that was a few years ago and you
can see by the picture of me here with my " 1st Place, Best of Catagory " Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake, that I did learn
alot since that time.
Everything that I learned in competition, I now use to do all of my commercial work.This ensures
that I am always giving you, the customer and sportsman, a quality product.
